JOB SUMMARY
The LOFFDI Assistant Services Coordinator will be responsible for the data entry of all LOFFDI clients, family member, and partner agency services. He/she will compile the LOFFDI services delivered and cross-site tools for data entry. He/she will assist residents with integration into the TC Community. The LOFFDI Assistant Services Coordinator will contact family members, significant others, fathers of the children and caregivers of the children living off-site in order to set up appointment related to the Cross-Site evaluation and service delivery. The assistant services coordinator will also complete data entry functions in order to track contacts (attempts at contact, actual contact, successful appointments/assessments and entry into the service system).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administration and Compliance: In accordance with Walden House guidelines handles such paperwork as: log notes, progress reports; incident reports, and any monthly reports. Follows company guidelines regarding staff review and job performance evaluations, etc. Attends weekly LOFFDI and staff meetings.
Role Model: Acts as a role model by following house norms, demonstrating honesty and a willingness to listen to participants issues, and taking responsibility for his/her own actions. Models appropriate problem solving techniques for both staff and clients.
EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Good written communication skills with proper grammar, good spelling, and legible handwriting.
A clear understanding of and the ability to demonstrate professional ethics, boundaries, and judgment.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Specialized knowledge such as, mental health issues, life skills, anger management, incest, criminal behavior, rape crisis, grief, etc.
Computer skills and type 50 WPM
Knowledge of Excel, and other database programs.
Time management skills.
Knowledge of addiction and the addictive process.
Ability to handle a diverse population.
Valid California drivers license
