Based in San Francisco, Walden House provides comprehensive behavioral health services at a variety of facilities throughout California.
Administrative and Executive Offices

This is the administrative headquarters for Walden House, as well as outpatient and reentry services.
Adult Residential, Hayes Street
Our largest adult residential facility, the historic building at Hayes Street is home to over 110 clients, and the majority of our HIV/AIDS specific services.
Adult Residential, Buena Vista West
Located in a beautiful old convent in the upper Haight/Ashbury District, our adult residential facility on Buena Vista houses and treats over 105 clients. This is now a Gender Responsive Program providing Gender (female) Specific Curriculum to our female population. We also house our Transgender population at this facility.
Adult Residential, Haight Street
Located in a former convent, our facility on Haight Street houses our variable length Dual Recovery program along with several shorter-term stabilization programs, HIV services and the Walden House Prevention and Mental Health departments.
The Multi Service Center located at 15th and Mission houses our Centralized Admissions operation and is where most clients entering treatment in San Francisco are assessed and matched to appropriate residential and outpatient Walden House programs. The facility houses the Representative Payee program which provides budgeting and case management support to clients receiving Social Security benefits.
Walden House provides mental health services toover 25 juveniles taking part in the alternative high school program located at the Principals Center. In participation with the San Francisco Unified School District and the City's Youth Treatment and Education Court, Waldne House offers individual therapy and expressive arts activities to the juveniles and their families.
FOTEP, Treasure Island
This building is home to the Female Offender Treatment and Employment Program (FOTEP) which provides residential services for over 60 parolees and their children.

This facility endows 14 of our clients with major medical issues a long-term, permanent housing opportunity.
Transitional Living, Hugo Street
During the last phase of long-term treatment, our
clients move into a transitional living apartment. This is a 16 female client facility.
Transitional Living, Treasure Island
During the last phase of long-term treatment, our clients move into a transitional living apartment. This is a 24 client facility.
